Anderson Home Run Propels Warbirds to Walk-Off Win
WILSON, N.C. - For the second time in the series, the Wilson Warbirds delivered a walk-off home run to defeat the Hill City Howlers. This time, it was Jose Anderson who came through, blasting a two-run shot over the left field fence on Sunday to lift Wilson to a 5-3 victory.
Hill City (9-6) trailed by a run in the eighth inning but managed to tie the game when Yeiferth Castillo lined a ball into the left field corner, allowing Robert Arias to score from first and even things at 3-3.

Mighty Mussels Blank Flying Tigers, Pitch MiLB-Best Fourth Shutout
FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels shutout the Flying Tigers in the series finale by a score of 5-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Lee Health Sports Complex.
Sunday was the fourth time Fort Myers' (9-6) pitching has blanked a team this season, the best mark in all of Minor League Baseball. Mussels' pitching leads all of affiliated baseball with a 2.32 ERA.

Jalen Luypen Signs AHL Deal with Hershey
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and AHL's Hershey Bears, have announced that forward Jalen Luypen has signed an American Hockey League contract with the Hershey Bears for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
Luypen, 23, returned to South Carolina on Thursday after playing in 22 games with the Tucson Roadrunners while on a professional tryout contract, logging six points (4g, 2a).
